my sim is in the music branch, and she wants to be in the rock branch.. how do i do this? also, it says her current wish is to change to the rock branch or whatever. thanks in advance!!! 0.oHow to change career branch in sims 3?
I believe that when your Sim gets a high enough level into their career they can choose between two different branches. In the music career I think it's either Symphonic or Rock music (: When that choice comes up, pick Rock :) It appears in a blue window in the center of your screen, so its kind of hard to miss haha :P
If you've already chosen a branch, you can always get your Sim fired by skipping work or going late for a few days and they'll eventually get fired, but if you don't want to wait, you can just go to anything that lets you pick a job (Newspapers, computers, etc.) and find the job you want. It will ask you if your sure you want to change your career, and you can click yes. :)How to change career branch in sims 3?
Make your sim use a computer, a newspaper, or zoom out to see the city view. Select %26quot;search for a job%26quot; on the computer or newspaper, or in the city view, you can select jobs at the building where they would work.
Anyways, once you pick the music career track, it will say %26quot;Are you sure you wish to change careers?%26quot; or something like that... and you say yes.
OH! I reread your question and realized I misunderstood. ANYWAYS, to answer your question... eventually, you will get to pick which branch she follows. So just keep advancing, and you'll get thereHow to change career branch in sims 3?

Part time jobs:
* Bookstore Clerk

Other information:
*Career tracks are now nonlinear. This means that even thought Sim1 and Sim2 enter both enter into Science, and both receive the same number of promotions, they may still not be performing the same job. This is because careers now branch off in different directions. What each career can branch into, nobody knows yet.
*The top of a career track is not the end. Even after achieving the final promotion, a sim can continue to gain raises and benefits if his or her performance continues to be high.

Changing careers?
How hard is it to change careers?
I'm in the programming field, but I realized I don't want to do this, I like it but I prefer to interact with people... So I'm thinking of hotels and marketing! I like both...
Advices?Changing careers?
I can't really answer how you would go about changing careers because I don't know enough about your situation (where you live, your educational background, what kind of businesses are around, whether you can move, etc.), but generally speaking I would say that if you are interested in marketing, you might want to consider seeing if there is a school nearby where you can work towards a business degree.
If you already have a bachelor's degree, see if there is a school with a part-time MBA program (assuming you are not in the financial position to go full-time for an MBA). Most MBA programs have marketing courses or specializations that may help you get into the field.
If you don't have a bachelor's degree, see if there is either a four-year college where you can get a degree in marketing or a community college where you can get an associate's degree or at least take some marketing courses.

How does one become a licensed Home Inspector, what is cost of training, & what are average yearly earnings?
I live in Maryland and want to change careers. I am primarily interested in a career in residential real estate, but I do NOT want to become an Agent working for a brokerage/real estate firm. I also need to know how long it takes to complete any required training and the current job market for Home Inspectors. I welcome all answers directly related to my question, but please do not send links or offers for the many real estate investment programs that are available for purchase. How does one become a licensed Home Inspector, what is cost of training, %26amp; what are average yearly earnings?

I was wondering if anyone are in the field at this moment could give advise on how they like there job, what are the prose and con's? What's there average salary or estimate? What school they went to? How long it took them to finish? Right now the job I am currently at I make ok money about 32 a year and I could advance myself but it will take acouple of years. I am not sure what one to choose, but I would like to chose something I enjoy being busy and moving around and of course I would like to make good money.Anyone a x-ray Tech or Surgical Tech? I am interested in changing careers and would like more info.?
I'm an x-ray tech in Ontario..
I think it's great...lots of different options within the field...currently I just work in general radiology so I get to be involved in trauma, daily x-rays, portable x-rays and the operating room..
I know starting salary in Ontario is about $52000/year.
But I have also been told it is lower in the states, but in return you go to school for a shorter period of time and I've been told techs in the states know far less and are not as high quality as Canadian trained technologist.

How do you apply for jobs at industrial/petroleum plants?
We have owned a photography studio for six year but feel now is the time to shut the doors however that means my 49 year old husband must change careers. We live outside of Houston and there are many, many industrial/petroleum plants. He is uncertain if he should go to the individual plants and apply at the personnel office or if he needs to find an agency that deals with the plants. Any insight out there for someone needing to change careers? How do you apply for jobs at industrial/petroleum plants?
You need to check with the individual companies. Sometimes they have a Human Resources office you go apply at. Others make you go to the Employment office. Or you might get in the door at a job placement center that you get daily work with the company, then if they like you, it gives you a better chance at them keeping you on.

After many years as an accountant, I'm interested in changing careers. My passion is emergency preparedness.
I live in NH. I also am not looking to go back to college for a 4 year degree. Any ideas how to make the transition, besides the obvious %26quot;talk to people in the field%26quot;?After many years as an accountant, I%26039;m interested in changing careers. My passion is emergency preparedness.
Look into your local CERT programs - that's a great way to get involved in your community and perhaps open some doors to the career you are looking for.

Maybe you could become a wilderness EMTAfter many years as an accountant, I%26039;m interested in changing careers. My passion is emergency preparedness.
I also have a MS in Accounting. I want OUT of this profession, probably more than you do.
I am looking to get into IT/programming. I am getting MSE certified. I'm reading everything on programming (obviously this stuff changes on a monthly basis). And I'm only looking at IT jobs. I also volunteer at my church on IT intensive projects (great %26quot;networking%26quot; - ha, no pun intended). After many years as an accountant, I%26039;m interested in changing careers. If you understand what you are asking, then you know that the obvious is the
only answer. The need for school is not what is required. Your skills has
prepared you for detail work.
Detail is what make the difference between an emergency handled well and
a botch job. It the people behind the sceen that make the emergency become
a no brainer. I am assuming this what you want to do; I am sure that all
READINESS groups are looking for people that are willing to put the brain
power to the task of possible emergencies.
The skill of knowing about sources that are available outside of the
immediate area is a big bonus to the task at hand.
