How do change career paths, is 36 too old?

I am looking into changing careers. I have a bachelors degree in Communications. After I graduated from college, I wanted to teach Art but I ran out of money in undergrad and Art teachers started getting laid off.

I have unpaid student loans and I do not want to pay for a master's degree with student loans.

I am interested in school psychology. I can't afford to pay for a master's degree. I also graduated with a 2.4, but I have 12 graduate hours with a 4.0. My grades in undergrad were low due to stress from my mother's ongoing divorce and I worked part-time.

What are my odds of getting accepted in a masters program?

I can pass the classes, but I do poorly on standerdized test. Any tips on how to take mutiple choice test like the GRE?
