How do i get a recommendation when changing careers?

I want to go to school in the medical field after graduating from a school in art. I feel like im abandoning my art ways but im also interested in working in radiology or ultrasound since high school but dumb me i went to school for art. Some of the schools want me to send them letters of recommendation. how do i do that when I already went to school for different career? can i get them from friends or able to get them from high school? they might remember me. what should i do?How do i get a recommendation when changing careers?
Get them from your teachers, or people you have worked with. Even though it is a different field, you have study habits and skills which will continue. You have the same basic intelligence. And you have the same work ethic. You may not have the applicability to being a radiology technologist or US tech, but neither does anyone else who is applying.

Friends are a poor source for recommendations, as they have no credentials, where teachers and employers are considered more credible.
