How many times can an officer in the U.S. Army change careers?

- I was told in 3 yrs/ 0-3 an officer can change careers. How accurate is this?

- After ROTC you get to create a wish list. Currently my wishes list is 6-8 choices long. Should it be longer or shorter?

- I would prefer to get my number one choice and stick with it through my 20/30 year career, but If I am able to change my career every 3 - 6 years is also a plus to me as I will be able to strenthen my experiences while I serve.

You can *apply* to get into a different MOS but it doesn't mean they'll accept it. A lot of money and resources will go into training you to do whatever your MOS is. They don't want to waste money to retrain you.
