Need advice about changing careers. How do you narrow down what it is that you want to do?

Currently I am a Realtor. This is a new career for me as I am trained a lawyer and recently left the active practice. So far this does not seem to be a good fit. I am exploring what would be a good fit. Any suggestions about narrowing down would be helpful.Need advice about changing careers. How do you narrow down what it is that you want to do?
There are tests you can do free online to see what your personality would match. If you liked being a lawyer, why did you leave? If not, decide what you did and didn't like about the job and look/don't look for those traits in other jobs. i.e. if you didn't like working with people, don't go after sales jobs, etc... You'll find something you're truly happy with! Just keep at it!!!Need advice about changing careers. How do you narrow down what it is that you want to do?
Quit being so nit picky. You made good money as a lawyer, so go back to it and stop complaining. Life is to short to bounce back and forth. Just do what you can and make your life after work the one that fits and rewards you.Need advice about changing careers. How do you narrow down what it is that you want to do?
Ur question reminds me of my decision making days about my career.

Career planning is a continuous development process through which we attempt to understand our personal, family, school, work and community experiences and the significance they are likely to have in building career and choice of lifestyle. We need to identify opportunities and to identify options. We need to examine our personal interests and skills as they relate to a variety of career opportunities to help us make appropriate and realistic decisions. Keep in mind that the goal of exploring career is not just employment but a purposeful of integrating our personal interests and values with the kinds of work that are most satisfying for us.
