Yes I sure have--I worked for many years as an office administrator for a large marketing firm and now I am a cook in remote camps for oil rigs and love it as I get to travel to beautiful areas in the Rocky Mountains that the public do not get to see. I am no longer stuck behind a desk and get to get out with nature and meet some fabulous people.Have you ever completely change careers midstream? How did that work out for you?

I did, and when I realized there were people who had been with the company longer than I had been alive, I knew I was headed for a dead end. I quit, took out student loans, went back to school, and really struggled for a few years. It has been TOTALLY worth it, though. I love what I do now, and am so glad I had the guts. I was scared when I quit, but I liked the alternative even less.Have you ever completely change careers midstream? How did that work out for you?
Changing careers midstream rules. As long as you stay on the raft. Usually the career has something to do with what you have done before. Opportunity makes itself known when your working at something else. Your life experience and gained common sense makes new things easier. The Internet makes research much easier.
Almost every American will have to change careers at one point or another.
