Want to change careers? Desperately...How?

I started out of high school in customer service. Though I've had other office jobs, mostly customer service. I hate customer service. I want to change careers, but am drawn to customer service jobs. How do I stop this cycle/switch careers midway?Want to change careers? Desperately...How?
The first thing you want to do is decide on a chosen career. I did customer service for 35 years and loved every minute of it, I worked for Natural gas companies and did service work for the customer in their home. You get to meet interesting people from all walks of life, the filthy rich down to the poor down and outs. I would go to places where the average person cannot go like factories, it would fascinate me on how difference products are made, my favorite was the Coca Cola plant in Tampa and watch the bottles being filled and the house that the Miller Brewing Family owned in New Jersey.Want to change careers? You hate customer service but you're drawn towards it. I don't get it. Maybe just look for jobs in different places.Want to change careers? Desperately...How?
Well first of all what do you want to do instead? Do you have a dream job? Find a piece of paper and write what you want to be down or draw a picture of it. Hang that up where you can see it every day. Because if you want to change things, you have to be passanate about your dream and see yourself there. Try volenteering in the career field that you want to go into and network with those people. Take classes if you need to in that field so you can be more knowlegeable. It is very important to dress for sucess when you interviews as well.
