How Do I Change My Career?

I've always been interested in having a career in the entertainment industry , either music or movies ....not as the artist ..but behind the scenes ...i.e make up artist , screen writer ......etc...doe's anyone know of any Schools In Canada (where I live ) or the USA where I can either do a correspondence course or get an %26quot;on the spot education%26quot; by being around that type of enviroment...or any workshops that teach you how to have a career in that type of industry.

Is it ever too late to change your career ?

I have mostly worked in the care industry , mainly because I really like working with my clients who are mentally challenged individuals , and because there is plenty of jobs in that area where I live.

However I have always deep in my heart had a love for the arts ...Music ..Theatre...Movies ...(my friends have been telling me for years that is right up my street as a career) Is it really too late to change careers at my age (late 40's) and how do I go about it ? ThanksHow Do I Change My Career?
It's never too late to change your career. Contact your local community college and see what they have to offer - this way, if you need to work until you complete a certificate degree or feel confident that you will be able to get a job in the field, you can.
