How to change careers @ 26?

My friend has worked in kitchens since he was 15, that's 11 years.

He hates it but does well.He has applied for countless jobs outside of the industry, to no avail.

The only exception is when he was 19 he had a job in a fabric shop with a bunch of 40 yo women who used to sexually harass him as he was the only ma.Oh troys a hottie, cute bum.ETC.

He did a corporate recruitment test one day, as did his mate.

Troy goy 98% in all the tests and was in the top 2% of scores for this test.

his mate got about 65% fell into the average scale, and got a job with the corporation within two months.

Troy has tried to get a job with the same company for years, to no avail.

What can he do to get a foot in the door elsewhere, i am worried about him as he is losing his faith in working.

He went 8 months without even an interview, he was working at the time.He is such a hard worker and a smart guy and i dont get itHow to change careers @ 26?
He should try to get a job at more than one place.

And if his resume doesn't show the skill sets he needs, but HAS, for a desired job, then go and see if you can talk to the boos. Briefly introduce yourself, and let him know who you are and that you're interested in working there.

And in general, fill out lots and lots of applications, and send resumes to as many places as he can think of that he'd like to work at. Trying %26quot;over and over%26quot; with only one potential employer is not trying very hard. Throw your net WIDE. And cast it again and again. How to change careers @ 26?
He needs to try for a higher position because he is over qualified or a bigger company.
