Teaching to Nursing.. How do you go about changing careers?

What type of background do you need to be a nurse or be accepted into a nursing program? My undergrad.master's in in Elem. and Sp. education and obviously has nothing to do with medicine. I have no idea even how to get started. Any leads would be appreciated... thanks.Teaching to Nursing.. How do you go about changing careers?
First, you will have to take a bunch of prerequisite courses at the undergraduate level. These courses may include advanced science and math courses (chemistry, physics, calculus, etc.) Then, you go to nursing school.

You may want to check out local nursing schools in your area. Most universities will have them.
